Background of the Study
The e-commerce industry in Nigeria has grown significantly over the past decade, driven by technological advancements, urbanization, and an expanding middle class. Despite its growth, the industry faces numerous logistics challenges, particularly in regions with infrastructural and security issues, such as Borno State. For Jumia Nigeria, a leading e-commerce platform, delivering products efficiently to customers in this region is a complex task (Olufemi & Adekunle, 2023). These challenges include inadequate infrastructure, high transportation costs, and security concerns.

The e-commerce sector's reliance on robust logistics systems underscores the need for effective solutions to these challenges. Addressing them could not only improve service delivery but also enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency (Adeola & Udeh, 2024). This study examines the logistics challenges faced by Jumia Nigeria in Borno State and proposes strategies to mitigate them.
